This is normally described at http://ohiorental.info in the description. However 99.9% of the properties we manage will have utilities set up the following way:
- Single family homes – all utilities are the responsibility of the tenant because all utilities are only used by that tenant. Normally water and sewer will stay in owners name and be scanned and emailed to tenant or sometimes added to tenants ledger.
- Multi-family homes – gas and electric are in tenants name and paid for by tenant and there is a utility recovery fee charged per occupant (normally $35 – $65) for the utilities like sewer and water which are not individually metered.
